If you made it to our website, you may have noticed that A Grade Ahead offers Educational Enrichment Camps (or maybe you didn’t notice but are now very intrigued)! We offer various educational summer camps because of the clear benefits that they have on children’s academic achievements. One goal of these camps is to make learning fun. Our educational enrichment camps help prevent summer learning loss and help your child continue a mindset of learning. Before you sign up, you may be wondering, what exactly are educational enrichment summer camps?
Are Educational Enrichment Camps a Worthwhile Experience?
Educational Enrichment Camps are week-long programs that take place over the summer months. They have all the fun of summer camps and all the learning of educational enrichment! Their main focus is to keep your child learning while school is out, while also keeping the material entertaining and exciting!
Studies have shown that summer months are when the biggest gaps form between high and low achieving students, and the reason is that low achievers are not actively learning, and they may even be forgetting previously-learned material. For more information about this, check out another one of our blog posts!
A Grade Ahead offers small class size with qualified instructors, ensuring that campers have enough one-on-one attention and opportunities to engage in the week-long activities. You can also be assured that these camps offer a different curriculum than what your child would typically study throughout a school year, allowing them to learn something new!
A Grade Ahead holds its own Educational Enrichment Camps, as we think all of our students have the potential to succeed academically. This year, camps are being offered in Math, Science, and even History and Writing, and they are designed for students in rising 1st through 6th grades. All camps are held at both the Wellington School in Columbus, Ohio, and at the Columbus Academy in Gahanna, Ohio. Are you interested in camps but not in the central Ohio area? Be sure to keep checking in with your local academy to see if enrichment camps are being offered this summer near you!
