India Festival provides central Ohio with a taste of the rich and vibrant culture of India. The Federation of Indian Associations (FIA) hosts the festival, a yearly event and the largest Indian community gathering in Ohio. A Grade Ahead was excited to host a booth at the event on Saturday, August 20, 2022, where the day was full of opportunity and enthusiasm.
An Authentic Adventure at India Festival
Featuring authentic food, shopping, and live performances, the festival was a vibrant celebration of Indian culture. With over 100 vendors on display at the Celeste Center, visitors had a lot to do. They spent the day browsing through everything from beautiful fabrics and ornate jewelry to craft booths featuring local businesses. The Indian community in central Ohio is strong. India Festival is a wonderful display of its beautiful cultural heritage as well. What a great occasion for local businesses to connect with family and friends, old and new.
Connecting to the Community
A Grade Ahead was grateful for the chance to reach so many wonderful people at India Festival. Children were excited to spin the A Grade Ahead wheel for a special prize while parents were eager to learn more about A Grade Ahead’s enrichment program, which includes both virtual and in-person options. With our unique and rigorous curriculum for grades pre-kindergarten to high school, students are guaranteed to aim higher in the areas of math, English, and science. We were delighted to see some familiar faces and were excited to meet new friends as well.
